My husband and I now own my childhood home. We liked the house but what we loved most of all is the yard and the views from it. We get, in my humble opinion, the best sunset and sunrise views of anywhere. We have farmer's fields around our house. So I added the barn and roosters, which we also occasionally hear in the mornings. I tried to use a lot of bright "sunny" colours. Whenever I'm not having the best day, I look at the sunset on a clear night, and it always makes me feel so much calmer. I cherish the family home I live in and and comforting views I can enjoy daily.

I was given several of the die cuts from a friend. I inked the "sunrise" and "sunsets" to try to match the photo somewhat. I fussy cut and filled the edges of the page.

I used my Cricut to cut the roosters (with a friend's cartridge) and for the lettering. I used a die for the barn and sun. I also did some stamping on this page using an Inkadinkado stamp set. The flowers are from various sources, including K&Co. and Dollarama. I used the Spellbinders Harvest time die for the barn and sun, but I couldn't find it to link, possibly because it is discontinued or out of stock. I put some Wink of Stella on the clouds.

Thank you to my mom for the background papers, which included the sentiment at the top right, which I fussy cut.

THANK YOU TO ALL WHO LOOK AT AND/OR COMMENT ON THIS PAGE.
