I’ve been hoarding this paper forever! I wish I could figure out the manufacture (if anyone knows DM me please!). This is the first page of my 2021 Cherry Blossoms excursion album. The journaling is on the pull up piece that has the title stamped on it....the rest says:
1912: The year the Mayor of Tokyo sent cherry blossom trees to DC. (Actually, this was the second shipment - the first shipment of 2000 trees was infested with insects so they had to be burned). First Lady Taft and the Japanese Ambassador’s wife planted the first 2 saplings.

3000: The number of trees that were sent by Yukio Ozaki, the Mayor of Tokyo.
