I believe this is the first card I have ever made using texture paste on the face of it. The tags in lace pockets were patterned after a page I made in my first Treasures Journal.
For the card base and tags, I used Blue Fern Studios Eclectic Charm, a favorite collection of mine. The tags were cut from 6x6 sheets from the same collection that were a gift from Kay (Oklynne). The tag die and beautiful appliques were from Ali.
I used homemade texture paste and my Tim Holtz Flourish Layering Stencil. I had to apply it in four different applications waiting until each layer dried before moving onto the next one. When it all dried I then applied Perfect Pearls Forever Violet with a paintbrush dabbed in water, then the PP.
Special thanks to Kay and to Carri (Caletts) for the Finnabair Berry Microbeads I applied around the top edges of the tags. Also thanks to Erin Perry for the lavender ribbon.
Please check out the remaining pictures to see the tags that I stamped phrases, the inside of the card and a "page hanger" or bookmark I made to go along with the card.
