The Asian themed papers are so appropriate with the cherry trees, so special that your Mother brought you back paper from her trip. Great stamps from Altenew. You are too funny, but I hoard my gifts from Ro, too. A lovely LO.
This is so lovely, it feels calm and tranquil! I love the colour fade background and the soft vellum pieces. Clever use of the chevrons, they direct the eye to your gorgeous photo. Your papers are fabulous!
Back to scrapping the rest of my gazillion cherry blossom photos. Honestly, I just started this particular LO to fulfill Day 13 of the Daily Inspiration challenge (one or more gifted items) and I was just going to do the photo layer part and keep the rest plain. Then I forgot my plan. Anyhoo - the gifted papers are the papers under the photo. On my mom’s (literally) last trip to Japan, she went to a specialty paper shop and picked up many many packets and sheets of rice paper to use in my projects. Those papers are the very pale pink with shimmery patterns on them. THe other papers, which I used sparingly because ... I am a paper hoarder (there! I said it) ... are from a surprise bit of happy mail from Ro (TY TY TY XOXO). Because they’re Asian-themed, I’ve decided they can only be used on my cherry blossom LOs and the heritage LOs of my grandma on my mom’s side.
