Your layout is delightful! The journaling is so interesting. I have lots of mockingbirds around my house. They literally chase other birds away when they get to near their nests or food. For several years, we were awakened by one singing early in the morning in the shrubs by our bedroom window. Was not real happy with being awakened but had to admit it had a pretty song!

So interesting! We see some of them around here but not many in our neighborhood but had a lot of them in Miami. I was terrified of them as a child because when we were playing outside they would often dive-bomb us. I know now we were probably near a tree or something where they had a nest, but at the time, they sent us in the house terrified to go back outside again. I always thought they were pretty birds but never heard them called Northern Mockingbirds - I just always called them Mockingbirds. I knew they imitated other birds but had no idea that had that many songs in their repertoire nor that they learned new songs their entire lives. We lived not too far from Parrot Jungle and it often sounded like the parrots and cockatoos and other birds had escaped, but it was the mockingbirds who had been hanging around Parrot Jungle imitating them. Your photos are wonderful and I love the page - the double matting for them and the embellishments are perfect for this! Awesome layout!
