This is a birthday card for our DSIL. He and our DD are building a new house, so this will be his card for this year. I used a sentiment strip label die to cut the "lumber" strips. As I was cutting these pieces, I thought of my father who would have said that lumber in the old days had straight grain. I inked all the edges. The tools are die cuts from scraps. Again, I thought of my father, who used to play the hand saw for me. I always enjoyed hearing him play the saw or the harmonica. These great papers (wood prints and house prints) are from pads sent to me by Ro (Rolbricht). They worked perfectly for the new house theme. I used my negative die cut sheet as a stencil for the tools on the envelope. Thanks so much for all the kind votes and comments. I do truly appreciate it.
