My SamSam is the best sidekick. Every morning starts with breakfast then a quick workspace inspection. Then he hops up on the upper level of his tall cat-tree, which happens to be right next to my chair. He watches to make sure Im working then snoozes. Sometimes he wanders off for a snack or a quick check on his kitty-brother. At noon, promptly, he walks across my keyboard and bats at everything on my desk until I get up for lunch. Theres usually a romp around the house or, now that its warm, 15 minutes in the kitty-pen on the deck. This followed by another desk inspection then nap time. If I have an online meeting, he makes a couple of appearances then watches with one from his perch. At the end of the day, usually around 5:30pm, he stretches and hops on the desk and walks across the desk a few times. This day, it was 6:30 pm and he just couldnt take it anymore. He had tried all of his tricks to get me up and then just plopped right over and rolled around making little noises. Finally, he just went belly-up and stayed in this pose, which he knows gets me every time.
