Oh my goodness - what a story! Your photos tell it so well and I just love how you've scrapped them with this gorgeous design; the colors, the stripes and the fussy cut flowers make a perfect setting and your journaling piece is spot on!

The journaling reads: 1938 was the year of the New England Hurricane, which was one of the deadliest and most destructive tropical cyclone to hit Long Island and New England. The eye of the storm followed the Connecticut River - and washed away the Chicopee Falls Bridge. These photos show the devastation of the Tomasczeski* tobacco farm. (*my grandma's family farm)
