This is our two youngest children, Sarah and Benjamin, along with their friend Luke hiking the trail at Tallulah Gorge, Georgia. July 23, 2016

For these pages, I did a ton of fussy cutting - the little hikers, title piece, log borders, all the curved pieces, boots, rocks, boot prints, clouds, sun and each of the little round "wood" slices were hand cut from pps. I used the Thickers alphabet alignment guides and Scene It All template (Hit the Road) to help design the curves. After getting all the curved pps placed I glued the "wood slices" into place along the path. Then I used the Sew Easy stitch piercer to create different stitching lines for each piece and stitched them using four colors of DMC. Next, I added the photos, log borders and title piece. Lastly, I added all the little hikers, rocks, boots, boot prints, clouds and sun, which had been inked around their edges. I added some streaks of ink around the sun for rays. I used a lot of older products for this page :)

Thanks so much for stopping by :)
