Photos of my DGD, Helen Grace, receiving her award as a Junior Pacesetter. I used some really old Basic Grey Marrakech papers for the triangles and the background paper is from BG Kioshi paper. I cut some rectangles from several pieces of the ppr and arranged them around the photos. I inked the edges of each piece with some distress ink. I also drew black lines around each of the traingles. The dragonflies were punched with a really old punch - maybe EK Success? I punched the bodies twice - once with ppr and again with pearl vellum so that I could make the wings with the vellum. Title work was designed and cut with the Silhouette Cameo. Photos are matted with black strips. I die cut an arrow with a Spellbinder die. I splatted some black nuvo drops around as well as a few gold nuvo drops. Journaling is tucked behind the top photo and was written by Helen Grace. Journaling reads:

From Helen Grace: I decided to be a Junior Pacesetter mainly because my friends were applying and they said I should too: So I did. I had to write an essay talking about what it meant to be a Junior Pacesetter. I also had to catalog service hours. In the end, I'm glad I did it because it really paid off. It was also an award Allen never got so that was just icing on the cake. I am really excited to have been chosen because I will have left my mark on Sims Middle School.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
