My @thebffstickerclub Pride challenge page.
June is Pride Month, but it's ALWAYS Pride Month in my home.
Both my children, 1 boy and 1 girl, are LGBTQ.

We knew our son was gay at the age of 3.
I know what you're thinking....but a parent knows!
He didn't officially come out until he was 21.
Even though we have always had an open and safe environment for our children, even encouraging him to come out by saying things like "you know we will love you no matter what" and "you can tell us anything" he said he was scared, due to bullying growing up. 😔 Not scared of us, cuz he knew we loved and would always love him, just scared in general...to say the words out loud. He is now happily married, having just celebrated 2 years of marriage (swipe left)

Our, daughter on the other hand, never officially came out as much as she would just make off-hand remarks like "well, if I marry a girl..." and just like our son we (kinda) already knew anyway and were 100% okay with it.
She wasn't afraid to "come out" and she said she was never bullied.

They are 7 years apart.
I wonder if 7 years made that much of a difference to society or if being accepted as gay is just easier for girls? I think it might be both, but more the latter.
.
Anyway...
This was super easy to make:
1. Travelers Notebook Paper from @kellypurkey
2. A full Pride-Heart sticker sheet from Recollections @craftsmithco, adhered to the TN Paper
3. Sticker flakes from "Thoughts That Stick Co." Etsy Shop
