Got this idea from a scrapping magazine (forget which one) and decided a time line of my life birth to marriage might be a neat thing for my kids to have. At this point in their lives, I don't think they really have thought about that Mom & Dad existed before we were Mom & Dad :)

1978
The beginning of high school - and the uncharted territory it brings. A new set of friends, a new set of concerns. Sandra, Mary and I spent hours together giggling as girls do. Jill and I were close friends too. I was involved with the church youth group and held positions of Treasurer and VP over the 4 years.
1982
I graduated from ********* and began making plans to attend ******** in the fall. I knew no one until orientation in August, but I was ready for a big change - starting with asking people to call me "Lynn" instead of "Jackie" as I'd been known until now. Planned to major in Education.
1983
April 4, 1983 - Steven and I officially became a "couple". Although our very first impressions of each other needed some improvement, by this point, we'd been close friends for several months. We both knew this was the right next step. This was the beginning of the life I know now. Hard to imagine life without him.
1986-87
Graduated college with a BA in English Lit in December. Steven soon was working in NYC at *******. In October of '87 after a short stint as a Paramedic with ****** Ambulance, and a few months working the desk at *********** TV, I found work at ********** and we began plans to relocate to NJ from Upstate NY.
1990
In June I completed my 18 months of class study and converted to Judaism. Steven and I became engaged in July and the wedding plans began, the same month Cheryl & Bruce were married. We found the apartment in ************, NJ and I moved in to begin establishing our home.
1991
August 25th was the day I became Mrs. Steven Finkelstein (aka Jacqueline Rusk Finkelstein). We were married at Temple **************** in *******, NJ & honeymooned at Disney in Florida. This was the day a new adventure for two began.
