Got this idea from a scrapping magazine (forget which one) and decided a time line of my life birth to marriage might be a neat thing for my kids to have. At this point in their lives, I don't think they really have thought about that Mom & Dad existed before we were Mom & Dad :)

1964
I was born ************ on December 15, 1964. Although Mom & Dad were living in Upstate, NY near the Canadian border, I was born on Long Island while mom was staying with my Grandma.
1966
We lived in Chestertown, NY in a double wide trailer home. I have very vivid memories of this time although they are often disjointed and confusing. Gram came to visit often & I remember the snow, the pets and the pickup truck.
1967
At age 2 years and 9 months my mom made the decision to send me to live with my Grandmother on Long Island. I would have a long-term address and stability for starting school soon.
1969
I started Kindergarten ******************. I met Christine, who fast became my best friend. Christine's mom watched me after school and it was like having a sister! Chris had 3 siblings and the 5 of us always found things to do. I spent two weeks in the summer at her family's summer bungalow on Eastern Long Island.
1972
Christine and I were great friends and did everything together, including Brownie Scouts and 4-H. Two weeks that summer we went to Girl Scout sleep-away camp in Pennsylvania. I was miserable and couldn't wait to go home. Christine made friends fast and took off!
1974
In September I started attending **********. I was beginning 5th grade. It was a hard transition from private to public school and I had a hard time making new friends. Christine and I slowly drifted apart as life took us different directions.
