April Williams posted a card where the strips of cardstock just floated—so cool. I found a tutorial on Splitcoaststampers and gave it a try myself. I think I didn't leave enough room between the strips, but I still love the card. The acetate that shows reflects the light and gives a cool effect. For the second card, I used Stampin' Up! Adhesive Strips and I left a tiny bit more space between the strips.
Card:
4 ¼ x 5 ½ inches
Neenah Classic Crest 110-lb. solar white cardstock (card base, mat, and die-cut)
4 x 5 ¼-inch mat (two mats adhered together to give a little bit of depth)
3 ¾ x 5-inch acetate
Grafix Dur-alar (I couldn't find my Judikins window acetate.)
Various pieces of cardstock
Spellbinders die to cut the cardstock
Gina K. Designs Connect glue to attach the strips of card stock to the acetate
3M Mounting Tape to attach the card stock strips/acetate sheet to the mat
Rubbernecker Flower #7 die (two pieces adhered together)
