Photos of my Daddy taken sometime during his service in Europe during WWII. I used some really old Basic Grey - Basics Vanilla and BG Crisp. Army figures and the tank were cut from Silhouette files. I designed the title in Silhouette by making large letters, doing an internal offset on the letters and then welding the letters together. That gave me the internal "letters" that I cut from some digital camouflage paper that I have. Then I just inserted the camouflage letters back into the outline. "Boots on the Ground" and the WWII (1941-1945) and the journaling were printed directly onto the background paper. (You can do this by designing your layout in the Silhouette program so that you'll know where to print) Photos are backed with some dark brown cardstock from the Crisp collection as is the border around the layout. I tore a piece of yellow/goldish paper to use as the "ground" for the tank and inked the edges with distress ink. I added a tiny silver heart next to my Daddy in each of the photos.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
