Every year a snapping turtle lays her eggs in at least 1 of my gardens. When she showed up this year I realized she was the one who'd killed one of my plants, not our dogs so I wanted to remember the situation. I cut a square of flowered cardstock for the middle of a 12x12 page and trimmed the photos so when I matted them they would also be a square. I wrote the journaling to reach across the floral square. The title is a play on the phrase "red handed".
