I finished this card the day after my nephew’s first birthday. Thanks to the pandemic, his party was canceled, and I procrastinated. It has been so long since I’ve made this type of background, I forgot I could use the other half of the torn sheet I used to mask off the hills to mask off the sky. Sigh. If I hadn’t been so late with this card, I would have remade the background, but . . .

The train tracks were made with a stencil that came from I don’t know where. It had three wonky lines and a bunch of other little images and shapes. I masked off one of the lines and had my train tracks. OK. I used a marker to connect the tracks.
