My first mixed media canvas, inspired by and and for the September Reneabouquet September Challenge.

I painted the canvas black then lightly painted over it with a mix of black and red paints. The gold ink swished Tsukineko's metallic pigment ink (might be my favoritest ink pads). I don' have a lot of acrylic paints (just the primary colors, black and white) so I tried to make a pumpkin color for the brush handle and I sprayed the brush part with oxide spray. It sort of didn't work the way I had in my head so I added acrylic paint. The stenciled brick is modeling paste mixed with whatever was left of the paint mixture. The gold flecks are mica bits and the pumpkins, leaves and other bits are a dismantled autumn floral pick. Lastly the RB piece is the swirly pumpkin with Nuvo Drops.
