A couple I know in Georgia just came down with the "'rona" (as they call it), so it was time for a get well card. Fortunately, they have had vaccinations, so hopefully they won't have too rough a time with this.

I went back to my favorite fun fold, my own Sketchy Fun Fold card. I used scraps left over from my 4-page bookbinding cards, as well as doing a little bit of blending on the topper.

I am getting on my own case a little bit, here. I designed this card, and still made mistakes, haha. My banner is a little bit short, and so my mini card shows through a little, but it's still ok. I added a middle layer this time, and it makes the card much more bulky, but it is pretty. I just have to see whether it will fit in our envelopes or if I need to make one this time around. My third picture shows some "white out," because I starting writing before I started taking pictures. Oops. The small sentiment on that page was by design, as both the sentiment and its size is relevant in ways I cannot really explain here, but the recipients will understand them.

Anyway, overall I am pleased with how the card came out.

Supplies (Stampin' Up!): Cinnamon Cider, Blackberry Bliss, Vanilla, Cajun Craze (scrap), Copper Foil card stocks; Blackberry Beauty DSP; Intricate Leaves dies and Double Oval punch; Cinnamon Cider, Blackberry Bliss, Petal Pink, Pale Papaya, Early Espresso inks; Winter Woods (retired), Through It All, Back On Your Feet, Seaside Notions (retired) stamp sets; Woodland Textures embossing folder (retired); Champagne Rhinestones.

If anyone is interested, I do have a simple PDF that explains how to create this card (in US A2 size) for free downloading and sharing:

Also, Jan Mansor Brown in the UK made a video (at my request) showing how to make this card using A4 card stock, so be sure to check it out, too:

Edit to add: WOW! This card earned me "Post Of The Day" on October 19, 2021, on the CraftWorld site! So happy. No prizes or anything like that, but lots of warm fuzzies, so to speak!
