DD and DGS exploring Missouri State Parks earlier this year. This one is located at the East Fork of the Black River. It was totally damaged in 2005 when the Taumsauk Mountain Reservoir had a breach and dumped 1.3 billion gallons of water rushing down the mountain stripping the land and everything in its path for many miles. It has since been repaired but the damage was done. The state did reopen this park but its landscape will be forever changed! All this info on back of LO.TFL!
