For my moms November birthday. And darn! I was at a friends house years ago when a group of us used to craft together and someone had this amazing corner stencil. I had modeling paste (with a velvet finish - so yummy!) so I stenciled a couple of scraps just in case. (I didnt make cards back then.) I hung on to them :) and found an uncolored one in my stash. The texture paste is very cool - dries to a chalky, velvety finish (I probably got it at Paper Wishes back in the day). I used cheap (like, really cheap) magic markers, which soaked into the paste so it turned the colors a little darker, which is what I hoped for.
The sentiment is a Dazzles sticker (love those!) that gives the illusion of being embossed. I might switch out the enamel dots for a slightly darker shade of red.
