This ancient Runestone is of great significance to my Mum. I captured the essence of it in my journaling which is hidden underneath the large photo.

My background is a paper from the Craft Consortium's Grunge (light tones) Collection. I stencilled the rainbow and figure, and used parchment paper for matting the photos. I die cut the title and used the negative frame, adding parchment to make the letters stand out more.

Initially it was my plan to work with large black and white photos , but I did not like the dull images, so I used them for matting the coloured versions. I die cut various circles and dry embossed them for texture. The rainbow was inked using distress oxides and a small sponge.

Figure - Aall andCreate stencil, Illusion
Small circle - Stampin' Up!, Painted Texture
Letters - Elizabeth Craft Designs, Blackboard Alphabet (1534)
