Give a Cheer
Hi...all...made some new gift tags this weekend. Of course I couldn't wait for the ink to dry overnight to emboss, so a little messy but I like the look anyways. Basically, I used old book pages adhered to watercolor paper with clear gesso. Once dry, cut out tag with a die and stamped with distress inks, oxides and mica using the watercolor technique. Didn't wait overnight, but embossed with copper or gold powder and stitched with matching metallic thread. They still need a light weight white cardstock on the back so its clean looking. But love how these turned out and will be making more.
