The striped paper works for this page - feels nautical along with the rope paper! Not sure about the sailor - the sailor suit in the photos is dark (probably navy)- might be that there is too much white.

Not committed to the title so didnt add to the LO. My poor little pieced sailor looks like a scary Pillsbury Dough Boy but not sure how I can fix him. Somethings missing so Ill probably mess around with this one a bit more after I figure out what needs to go on. For those who have been listening to my whining about the paper pack that wont go away - heres proof. That striped paper is yet another surprise scrap from that pad.

Anyhoo, I love this slightly damaged photo of my dad. Im guessing this was a little after his father left for the Navy (hence the sailor outfit), which would make him around 3 or so.
