journaling: The Pfizer vaccine became available for ages 16 and up in early April and then for 12 and up on May 13th. I was still very nervous about them getting the vaccine since its so new and theres no way to say what long term effects a new vaccine can have, but in the end the danger of them getting covid outweighed those possibilities for us, especially since they were both working in public places this summer. They received their 1st shot on June 7th, their 2nd vaccines on June 28th and were considered fully vaccinated on July 12th.
