A one layer hot foil birthday card. I used the hinge method to create this card. I placed all the elements within the rectangle frame and used wide blue painters tape to keep it all in place. Then I laid it on the cardstock and inserted the foil underneath. I carefully checked the finished product before I moved the plates away. This card was made a few months ago but in those days I always had to reapply new foil and run it through again. So I have developed the habit of using tape hinges and checking to see if the foiling printed properly before moving the plates out of their format. the cardstock is Neenah Desert Storm 110lb.
