Give a Cheer
So, I haven't been doing mixed media canvases in awhile after all the graduation canvases I created for my daughter's friends. I decided I need to make a few before the next two holiday craft shows I will be doing. This was my first one and wouldn't you know it....I can not part with it! I have decided to give it to my daughter for her dorm room Xmas decorations. I might try something similar but in an 8x8 for the craft shows...maybe...
Anyway, I used a several distress spray stains to match the basic grey paper circles, I remember salvaged patina, speckled egg or tumbled glass and rustic wilderness...I think.... I love circles for some reason. I did some stenciling with paper paste and inks in the background. The wood is rice paper.
