Give a Cheer
This canvas has a companion canvas, or at least that was the way it was designed to start out. I had this rice paper and wanted to use it on two canvases so I spilt it in half and started creating both at the same time. I used distress spray stains to match the colors in the rice paper...rustic wilderness and antique linen. I did some stamping with archival ink...one of the new TH brown colors. Cut out flourishes from TH metallic gold paper and cut out holly leaves which I stitched some with gold thread. I also had to purchase some of the new TH Christmas line. The Holiday Greetings was embossed with frosted crystal powder. The flowers are cut from a die, brand I can't remember...sorry...and embossed with white powder. The branches with red berries...now this is cool and you should give it a try...I used a dot of hot glue and added red embossing powder then heated. Cool right...
