Give a Cheer
This card was made based on the parameters from Craft Roulette episode #89 (you can watch it here: https://youtu.be/MfxUyxfrZsw).

I decided to make an easel card (although it is a little top heavy), so I used a piece of smooth white cardstock to make the card rather than a premade card base. I cut a piece of paper in 1/2 "hot dog" style or lengthwise so I had an 4.25" x 11" and then folded it so that there are 3 parts--a smaller part on the bottom (where you can see the washi tape), and two larger equally-sized parts of the card.
The butterfly was created as follows: I ink blended a couple pieces of paper and heat embossed them. They were die cut with the Tim Holtz's butterfly die and the glued together. I curled the top parts of the two upper wings so you can see the yellow layer beneath the blue
The background panel was created with the Kaleidoscope embossing folder with some VersaFine Clair Glamorous ink brushed over it so that the ink was smooshed over the paper. After running the paper in the folder through my die cutting machine, I also ink blended the panel with the same ink around the edges.
The sentiment was die cut with Yupo paper that had been alcohol inked with yellow alcohol ink with some gold foil added. I added a couple layers of scrap paper behind the yellow Yupo paper to add dimension to the sentiment.
To assemble the card, I added a strip of sparkly washi tape to the bottom of the background panel, then glued the butterfly onto the card. The sentiment was glued next. At this point, I glued the whole thing to the card base and splattered gold watercolor over the whole thing and then sprayed some more sparkle (Imagine Crafts' Sheer Shimmer Spritz Spray in Frost). I then added 2 strips of washi tape on the base of the card and glued some sequins to the card.
