Koi-nobori- Childrens Day 1960s

On May 5 Japan celebrates Childrens Day and, from April to May, colorful koi nobori (carp streamers) decorate the country. Though the koi nobori are displayed in a set of specific colors (black, white, a red, etc.), mine are just colored the with the inks that I like.

These photos were taken by my dad in (I think) the early 1960s.
