I decided to make a few 8x8 canvases for the next 2 holiday markets I will be attending. After seeing TH live, he had texture paste coated with embossing powder, I had to try it out on this canvas. I should have waited some for the ink behind it to dry more before adding the paste and powder but I was inpatient. It still looks cool. I also screwed up on this one, I wanted the edges to be grayish, so tried to mix some magicals into white gesso and just couldn't get the right color. But ended up ink the gesso with archival black soot after it dried. Kinda turned out ok. I used a bunch of TH's new Christmas line and some stuff from my stash. Also, I realized I need to use hot glue to glue everything down. That was fine, not really. In the end it turned out pretty cool, it has that old worn look with chard edges.
