I am almost done for 2021 with the card making. I cannot help but wonder if I can keep up the same pace in 2022? Can you believe this year is almost done! It feels like it was just yesterday we were having to wear masks and keep our distance in public places. Oh, wait... that was just yesterday. LoL I think we have found our new normal. I have always been a homebody. I had been practicing my entire life for this! But I know there are lots of other folks who are ready to move on. So that is what a new year is for! I have made a total of 12 of these cards. I am not showing you all of them! You are so welcome! LoL But I am sharing four with you today... one of each of the colors I chose to use this year. This is New Year's Baby Bella and Bronte from Mo Manning. I colored the entire image with Copic markers and a gold gel pen. I kept these simple for my postal carrier. I kid you not, last time I went in there, she sighed when she saw me. I love using lots of layers and embellishments so usually, all my cards weigh differently. I try! I just cannot! I love papers and embellies! So, I kept this one simple and clean for her. For the life of me, I cannot remember where the sentiment came from. I want to say Create with TLC but do not hold me to that. I cannot find it in my stash. When I was contemplating what colors to use, I thought I would Google to see if she had an idea. Guess what?!? She did! White is for new beginnings, red is for overall good luck, purple is for prosperity, blue is for peacefulness, gold is for hope and green is for happiness and good health. You would think I would have just gone with green, right? But red, blue and purple happen to be favorite colors for some special people so I went with that as well. Wishing you a happy and safe new year! Thanks for looking!
