Chess game card-2

Here is the second design for the chess game themed cards. I could use some "chess puns or one-liners", I am at a loose for those sentiments. Anyway, clear gesso down an old book page onto mixed media paper....then stamped with archival many times to get the right darkness (emboss next time). Added distress stains and ripped edges and added black soot ink tot the edges. Oops...texure paste through a stencil before the color was added. I wanted the white to be over the numbers so that was added last with picket fence. Also, did some doodling with a white paint pen and some stitching with white thread. Lastly, added a small piece of stamped tissue paper at the bottom for interest.
