So sad that so nature is being sacrificed right and left. When my parents moved to their area, they purchased because of all the green space. 30 years later and oh how it's changed. Great that you scrapbooked the happy memory (love the green on that strong blue background).

Calvert

Calvert used to be a beautiful nature reserve about 8 miles from where I live. We would take the grands to wander round and find big sticks and puddles and climb trees. Now it has been closed to make room for a massive high speed railway that no one wants and which will cost the UK a fortune which we can ill afford - its madness - and so sad that the countryside has to be decimated for a monstrosity.

It was important to me to remember the good times there.
