I used ephemera from Doodlebug Design's "Love Notes" as the focal images. There is lots of texture on the love letter card, which I created using an embossing folder for the pink cardstock and a potato sack for the white background behind the mailbox. I used a Dress My Craft stitched scalloped rectangle die to cut a decorative border out of the white cardstock background. A Sizzix word die from the Celebration Script dies was used to cut out the word "happy" from frosted silver cardstock. I simply printed the words "Valentine's Day" on white cardstock and trimmed it out as well as added a fish tail with my scissors. For the second card, I created a background by using three strips of cardstock in light green, red, and pink from the Scrapbook.com Peppermint cardstock pack. They each measure 1.25" by 4.25". I adhered them to a piece of white cardstock that measured 5.5" x 4.25" and then used the same Dress My Craft stitched scalloped rectangle die to cut it out. I embellished the candy jar by adding a bow with some thread. Finally, I embellished the hearts on both cards with Crystal Nuvo drops in Morning Dew. The XOXO was cut with Alpha Numeric dies from Sizzix by Tim Holtz from silver mirrored cardstock. You can see it being made here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W-viRKj7myU&t=200s
