A tradition that I always photograph but rarely scrap. Every year we wait for Santa on the Fire Truck. It is a very Aussie tradition. I used Uniquely Creative papers and dies and Naughty or Nice from Couture Creations. The background created using the Franken technique.

The journalling reads:
Santa arrives on the Fire Truck
At Christmastime all over Australia - from the bush to the 'burbs - Santa arrives on the back of the fire truck!

A Christmas tradition, all round this land,
from the city to the country, from the bush to the sand,
in a shiny red truck instead of a sleigh,
Santa sets out on his jolly old way.

Every year we wait for the arrival of Santa on the fire truck. The local fire brigade drive through the streets and deliver bags of lollies to all the kids who come out to see him. It is always the last Sunday before Christmas and it is a tradition much anticipated. Even though my kids have grown, we still go out to see Santa on the Fire Truck. I love that this is a tradition my kids have grown up with. 19.12.21
