More photos from our holiday last autumn, this time featuring beautiful Tudor buildings on Ludlow High Street. This was day 2 of our vacation and pretty much a wash-out. It cleared up late afternoon and from then on the weather started to improve.

I wanted to focus on this town scene. So, for the embellishments I dug out stamp images I have used numerous times before on other layouts, they are shown in the second photo. I first stamped the images on paper, then photocopied them (onto watercolour paper), reducing them in size. I only used the umbrella from image 3. After colouring and fussy-cutting the images, I backed them with foam tape for depth and dimension. Telephone box, lamp posts and the traffic light are images from the internet, also reduced in size.

I stencilled a town silhouette onto a half circle using VB's MM foundations paper, and blended and splattered Distress Oxide inks to match the background. I love those inks, they are so versatile and blend well.

It was great fun creating this piece, thank you so much for taking a look!
