I can see from your photos, Dixon is a sweetie. I'm glad he finally has a home of his own and will be love. You made a beautiful layout. I love the masking and of course, it is pink!
I have to find a burlap stencil - I absolutely love how it looks on this LO! Great use of those little scraps of embossed bits. I thought about fostering once but realized that I would become "that person" who lives alone with 100 furry creatures.
This one makes me smile - I know its bittersweet, but good for Dixon to have his forever home. You background work on this is absolutely amazing - I love it!
At the weekend, the Dog Rescue Centre handed over Dixon to his new owner. I will miss this little guy but it makes me happy to know he has found another companion who will love and look after him.
While I was printing the photos I tried to think of a title. I thought this Shakespeare quote from Romeo and Juliet was quite fitting. I used some scrap pieces of embossed paper (vellum and plain white card) and also tried out some waxes on their raised areas.
