Love the gel backgrounds with the reverse image. I will definitely try that.
Really cool to see the GT stamp set in action, I'll definitely put it on my to-buy list.
Love the different gel BGs. I love my gel plates. Never know what will turn out, which makes it fun. The collage of embellishments is fun. Love it all...Carol
Wow! What a cool layout! That photo looks awesome, amazing what you can do on the computer, isn't it! I'm always awestruck by all the work you put into your pages! Cheers!
So the gell press must be how one image appears to be reversed and it 's very cool. I just got a gell plate and I need to practice more. I sat it aside to make Thanksgiving and Christmas cards.
I just received the wine Visible image stamp set and am eager to try it! I love all the different techniques and colors and how you repurposed packaging!
I cannot quit looking at this one. I love it when they take a life of their own and it is iso much better than what you imagined - even if what you imagined was good! The is awesome!
Do you know the feeling when you start out with a vague idea for a layout. And then your project takes on a life of its own and ends up looking nothing like you originally planned?? Well this is such a layout and I absolutely love it!
I first started playing with my little gel press and distress oxide colours, trying to create ombre backgrounds for a multi photo page. Then the postie arrived with my new Visible Image stamp set and I added the jumping lady stamp to the mix. Then my printer ran out of ink and messed up my sheet of selected photos. But I liked the look of one particular photo so much that I applied some filters to it before installing new cartridges and printing it again. And then I went crazy with colour, stamping, die cutting, embossing, stencilling .......(Note to self: breathe!)
I had a blast, especially using the gel press. A nifty little tool that I simply do not use enough. That will change after this project! I already have some ideas for cards.
I also added 3 repurposed items: the red circle was cut from the acetate cover of VB's MM foundation paper. The small piece of card with the grey printed words was the insert of a Kaisercraft Rhinestone packet. And lastly, part of the subtitle (Bring On The Beers) is the actual title of one of Visible Image's stamp sets, cut from the card backing.
