After the fun I had creating my "Cheers!" layout, I carried on using my gel press, brayer and distress oxide inks to create a few more backgrounds.
I used one of them for this card. I then stamped the image on it, using Versafine Clair ink, then heat embossed it with Distress embossing glaze. This left a gorgeous sheen. The birthday sentiment was embossed with Cosmic Shimmer. I stamped, heat embossed and fussy-cut some candles and stuck them down using foam squares for dimension. For matting I used a scrap piece of Bazzill canvas cardstock, unfortunately I don't know the colour name.

I love the texture of this gel plate print, and I get a 2-for-1 deal that way, because I took off excess paint from the brayer onto another piece of paper that I can also use as another background later. Result!

Birthday sentiment is embossed with Cosmic Shimmer, embossing powder, Aurora Sparkle.
