Last one of the set, but something different for me. This card was created with alcohol inks. Yep, starting to try to learn some new techniques for me. The background was me practicing with some inks and the hand blower tool. After the ink dried, I stamped with hickory smoke archival ink some text. Then I tried something out, note: be fast and careful if you try it, I used my new hot foil system to add the hexagons to the alcohol ink background. Two tips, place a sheet of paper down on the hot plate before placing a thinlets die down and the foil and the inked background. The alcohol ink will come off on the hot plate if not careful but not the paper. If you do get ink on your hot plate, it comes off with hand sanitizer. Second tip, rub your finger over the foil in areas other than where the die is before removing it to reveal the impression. The foil will take in places to the alcohol ink leaving you some really cool additional impressions that are unique. An added bonus to your project. I also heat embossed the heart atom stamp with silver and added a die cut out of vellum.
