Card is stationary I bought at the LSS going out of Business sale, as is the matching envelope. It's much larger than most of my cards. The envelope is 9 x 6-3/8. The card itself is 8-1/4 x 5-3/4.
The paper is "Wedding Cake" by Creative Imaginations, "sonnets". It's a 12x12 piece and I cut a piece without all the wedding cake artistry.
Used Fiskars deckle edged scissors to cut around that piece and then inked around the edges. Also inked the edges of the card.
Stamped the card on the right hand side with an InkADinkADo stamp, "flourish" using an Archival Brilliance Pigment Ink pad in "Cosmic Copper". Stamped it twice with said stamp. :)
Adhered a torn strip of 7 Gypsies "Le Monde" Gaffer's Tape in black along that border. Used black staples to staple some Michael's red velvety looking ribbon along the bottom border.
Used the Cuttlebug to cut QuicKutz dies from the Olivia alphabet ("Love") and the travel charms QuicKutz dies to cut the lock and key. The Love is die cut from red metallic cardstock (from The Paper Company, I think) and the lock and key are die cut from Metallic Copper cardstock (also from The Paper Company).
Also used the copper cardstock to cut a Cuttlebug die, "vintage flourishes" I think, for the flowery corner. After a few failed experiments with different mediums trying to shade the super tiny and/or delicate cuts, I ended up shading with a freshly sharpened black Crayola colored pencil.
The chipboard heart is Heidi Swapp and embossed with STAMPENDOUS copper embossing powder (used the same "flourish" stamp). Inked along the outside edges and adhered with mini pop dots.
The other chipboard circle is also Heidi Swapp, and I used a 7 Gypsies transfer ("A La Card" "Love") on it and then added a tiny EK Success Precious Finds gem. Punched a hole in the top and tied some Paton's Cha Cha in black (eyelash yarn) through it. Adhered to the card with a larger MM sticky square.
The "Glimpse of Heaven" sticker is from MAMBI, "Love & Romance sayings" and embellished with one of those same Precious Finds gems, but I chose a marquis cut this time and tried to position it so it could be alikened to an eye (for the whole "glimpse" thing).
Used MM black staples to place decorative little "x"'s in various places along the card. Added another 7 Gypsies transfer from that same "A La Card" "Love" set (the red swirly-do on the right), and the top scrolly transfer is from 7 Gypsies "Journal" "Scroll" rubbings.
Took a couple of black buttons (probably from SEI) and tied metallic thread (Kreink thread, HIGHLY recommend, it doesn't unravel where you cut it) through the button holes and then adhered with mini pop dots again.
Added a black mini swirl paper clip (Creative Inspirations?) to the left side of the card.
