My first BOM page. Journaling reads:

"Born a bald-headed baby, and not really growing much hair until I was almost two-years old, my mother struggled to always make me easily identifiable as a girl.

Way ahead of her time, and long before the brilliant use of Velcro hair bows, my mother used to cellophane tape bows to my head. Even with baby fine hair, and only very short locks of it, she was able to at least temporarily assure everyone that her first-born was indeed Female."
