I did this page several months ago, but have been holding back on posting it. Even today, I still miss Sophie so much. We are blessed to have so many sweet memories of her and all the other pets we've had. I think it's been especially hard for me to get over her because we've made the decision not to get another dog. This photo was taken on one of her strolls through our front gardens.
The "frame" was cut using decorative wavy scissors and then inked in dark brown. The edges of the photo were sanded lightly. The flowers were fussy cut from pp and inked. The small ivory heart and "forever" tag are rub ons. The pink heart was hand cut, then I punched a paw print in the center and backed it with a darker pink. Then, the heart was mounted on white and I cut the edges with tiny scallop scissors and inked it with coral. Lastly, I added pen stitching and dots. The scallop border was punched using Martha Stewart's Doily Lace punch. Lettering was done with stickers from my stash. PP and stickers were mostly from G45 Secret Garden.
