Too bad about Jerry's wrist. He probably made an excellent supervisor for the planting crew! Your title work on this is absolutely adorable! You are a very creative scrapbooker.
Love the way you did the title, did the journaling within the tree, and all the photos which tell the story. Poor Jerry falling but so glad the kids finished the job, you raised them right!!!!!!
Fantastic two page, multi photo lo. Everything is so creative. I really love your tree journaling spot and the fun title you made. Glad your kids were able to pitch in after Jerry broke his wrist.
Journaling reads: March 24, 2018 - We were planting flowers to get the yard ready for Adam's and Jasmine's wedding when Jerry fell down the hill and broke his wrist. So, the kids all came to help us. The boys dug holes and Sarah helped plant. What would we do without our wonderful kids?
I used an old journaling template to draw off the tree, then I stamped the leaves around and added some brown "wood grain" doodles to the tree trunk. The fence is just pp that I punched large scallops across and then I cut the pointed tips off ( I just noticed that I missed the first one - fixed it). The title was made with large letters that I cut by hand and then I used the shovel for the "I". I created the dirst mound at the bottom with colored pencils. Thanks so much for stopping by :)
