Her birthday isn't until August but I wanted to try this technique. Inspiration is from Tracey McNeely who I found on Pinterest. She used 3 colors and I did the rainbow. All are TH Oxide inks and white paper. Each color has 3 tones which is one for each of the 3 dies it takes to make it starting with dark on the "c" die which is the background.
Oxide Inks:
Dark Shades are: Candied Apple, Ripe Persimmon, Mustard Seed, Rustic Wilderness, Prize Ribbon, Villainous Potion.
Medium Shades are: Worn Lipstick, Spiced Marmalade, Squeezed Lemonade, Mowed Lawn, Salty Ocean, Dusty Concord.
Light Shades are: Spun Sugar, Dried Marigold, Scattered Straw, Bundled Sage, Tumbled Glass, & Shaded Lilac.
