Back to slimline to finish out this set of cards. All the March birthdays are finished now, and mailed off, though the last two are pushing the deadline for delivery.
All the sunflower cards pretty much followed the same design, though each had its differences. I don't usually go that route, but it had its purpose.
This one went back to using a paper background from Craft Consortium Hackney & Co "Tell the Bees." Really do like these papers. I used gold and rose gold specialty metallic papers for two of the die cut stalks, and added a more subtle green/blue die cut I thought looked nice and mellow in all the drama of the other colors. I put a bolder green inside.
I still have enough sunflowers I colored and fussy cut for a couple more cards, but I will save them for now.
Stampin' Up! supplies: Gold and Rose Gold Specialty Metallic, Soft Succulent, Cajun Craze, Garden Green card stocks; Old Olive, Pale Papaya, Crushed Curry, Cajun Craze, Soft Suede, Crumb Cake inks; Celebrate Sunflowers and Punch Party (ret.) stamps; Quiet Meadow dies, Dual Ovals Punch; Brushed Brass Butterflies, Ladybug (ret.) and Bumblebee Trinkets, and Champagne Rhinestones.
