Be My Valentine

For the March Die-Cut challenge! I struggled with this picture not knowing how to do a primarily black photo. I knew I wanted a die-cut phrase for the title and that's about all I knew (brain fog is killing me). I decided to try a cut overlay and using glitter paper under it to break up the black. It was a formal event (my daughter was a rep for February Sprit/Sweetheart week so I wanted to glitter it up a bit without going gawdy. I had to use double sided tape (the red stuff) to get it to stick to each other. From there, I made it up as I went (I normally do not do that!). I sprayed it with Tattered Angels Mist (had to iron the sucker after as it warped a bit). I also wrapped black tulle around the picture to frame it and enhance the formal event.
