Our kitchen is a retro diner theme and our floor is black/gray checkerboard tile. As soon as I saw the candy shoppe paper, I knew it would be great for a kitchen page. I colored in the white tiles with a gray colored pencil. I cut ornaments from a 2nd sheet of Reminisce vintage Christmas paper and attached them with foam squares, running silver glitter thread through the tops. I found a color wheel years ago that fits perfectly with this tree. I made a copy of it from clear plastic report covers and glossy photo paper to bring attention to it. This is one of my favorite trees because it reminds me so much of my 1960's childhood.
