I made this little note card boxed set as a "just because" set for a relative. One of my 80-something aunts was asking me about "pour crafting." I'm not into it, but have some patterned papers that made from "pour" photographed for its creation. I decided to make her a little set of cards for the fun of it using this paper.

This is also a double CASE of sorts.

I got the basic ideas for the cards from Gail Ellis of Blue Rose Paper Treasures in Australia https://bluerosepapertreasures.blogspot.com/?fbclid=IwAR1Gg6WVyLosvJ6eZyoWHKwXxB4kk29_FSlU-UN5-j3TSxdgKtB5CD4XbsA (I just couldn't go as fancy with this set).

The box is from Sam Hammond Donald of PootlesPapercraft in the UK on YouTube. She has done two videos for this note card box, here are both https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onuOeconbiI and https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ocYTz4lhrg4 Following Sam's lead, I spaced the magnets on my box's lid, and just decided to make do without covering them. Heh.

The note card size is the same in the UK as in the US, 3-1/2 x 5 inches. I did play with the measurements of the note card box after, and I did come up with the US A2 size equivalent. Happy with that, and I have two of them ready for cards and decoration. Haven't decided on those yet.

My finishing touch was to add a "butterfly stamp" (US non-machinable surcharge postage) to each of the envelopes for the cards. No bling, though there is dimension with each of the cards as I used foam dimensionals under the large flowers and the sentiments.

Stampin' Up! supplies: Basic White Note Cards and Envelopes, Waves of the Ocean Designer Series Paper and Blue Foils Specialty Paper, Blueberry Bushel card stock (ret.), Posted for You stamp set (ret.), Pierced Blooms dies, Small Blooms punch (ret.), Bough punch, Dual Ovals punch, and Pacific Point ink pad.
